Muyuan aims to increase its live pig output from 7.34 million to 11 million! Here’s how the capital market is analyzing this...

According to data from Souzhu.com’s backend system: The average price of lean-type live pigs sold nationwide is 9.83 yuan per kilogram, down 29.79% from 14 yuan per kilogram during the same period last year. The average price of three-way piglets is 24.21 yuan per kilogram, a year-on-year decrease of 38.16%. The average price of reserve two-way gilts is 1,595.6 yuan per head, down 17.10% year-on-year. The national pig-to-feed ratio stands at 3.68:1, a year-on-year decline of 34.26%; the pig-to-grain ratio is 5.07:1, down 37.75% year-on-year. Calculated this way, the average loss per head for self-bred and raised pigs has reached 215.51 yuan—meaning that for every pig sold, farmers are losing 215.5 yuan.
