However, just as the industry is thriving, beef prices have begun to plummet rapidly, and imported beef continues to flood the domestic market, plunging the beef cattle farming industry into a cold winter. Ranches are now facing the dilemma of abundant production but meager profits on both the supply and sales ends. How to break this impasse has become the industry’s top priority.

On November 11, 2023, Xilai Gao joined hands with Bashan Hongmu Industry Service Center to host a beef cattle farming empowerment conference titled “Innovative Development—Improving Quality and Efficiency” in the picturesque city of Bazhong, Sichuan. Over 260 beef cattle farmers gathered in Bazhong to share and exchange experiences! This marks the second time Xilai Gao has sounded its “call to empower” livestock farmers—in addition to the event held in Woyang, Anhui last October—this time in the beautiful city of Bazhong, Sichuan.

At the conference, Mr. Huang Guogang, Chairman of Xilai Gao, delivered an in-depth presentation covering four key areas: the current state of beef cattle farming, an analysis of China’s beef cattle market trends, pain points encountered during the farming process along with corresponding solutions, and future development trends. In particular, he focused on a series of stress responses that occur during the pre-entry conditioning period for beef cattle—caused by long-distance transportation and changes in ambient temperature and humidity—as well as the issue of acidosis in the later stages of fattening, which results from an improper balance between concentrate and roughage feeds. The conference venue was filled with a strong atmosphere of learning; every farmer sat attentively, fully engrossed in Mr. Huang’s presentation. Their eyes were fixed on him, carefully watching and listening, determined not to miss a single crucial point.

Mr. Hu Chunchan, Deputy General Manager of Xilai Gao, provided a detailed analysis and explanation of the three stages of beef cattle—entry conditioning, rearing, and fattening—sharing with the attendees Xilai Gao’s solutions that have been practiced for many years. These solutions received high praise from the livestock farmers in attendance.

During the on-site guest-sharing session, farm owners Ma Bin, Guo Shangfu, Xian Xiaoping, and Jia Dexuan—representing the guests—each shared their experiences and insights on using products such as Xilai Gao Mosichongjing, Aijia Fertilizer, Suan Dafu, and Jianlibao. It was precisely because of Xilai Gao’s products that they were able to genuinely address the pain points and challenges they had encountered in their livestock farming operations. These guests expressed deep gratitude to the organizers and pledged to continue supporting and using these high-quality products. They also expressed their anticipation for even more innovative products that could further boost their beef cattle breeding businesses. Their sharing sessions were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience, enabling many attendees to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of these products.
