“Turning Crisis into Opportunity, Innovating the Future”—Xilai Gao’s 2023 Mid-Year Summary Conference Was Successfully Held!

In recent years, influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic and the slowing pace of the market economy, virtually every industry has faced tremendous challenges. It’s become increasingly common to hear news of large corporations shrinking their businesses, undergoing mergers and reorganizations, or even going bankrupt! A great many small and medium-sized enterprises are struggling to stay afloat. The agricultural and animal husbandry sector is no exception! Faced with a sluggish market environment, many manufacturers and agri-pastoral distributors have chosen to adopt a “wait-and-see” approach. Yet, there’s a group of people who have decided to keep learning, updating their knowledge, building up new marketing strategies, and adapting to the changing market conditions. They aren’t afraid of obstacles—they actively respond, face challenges head-on, and move forward courageously!
On July 7, 2023, the Xilai Gao Mid-Year Conference kicked off in Zhuzhou, China. Partners and outstanding distributors from across the country gathered at the Xilai Gao Agricultural and Pastoral Technology Industrial Base to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities amid the downturn in the market! 
As early as four years ago, Mr. Huang Guogang, Chairman of Xilai Gao, proposed the concept of digital transformation for Xilai Gao and has been exploring it ever since. At this conference, Zhou Le, Manager of Xilai Gao’s Information Department, will share “Going with the Flow,” outlining current digital transformation trends and Xilai Gao’s journey of digital exploration.
As shared by Manager Zhou, the three-year pandemic has dampened offline transactions, forcing many businesses to embark on a digital transformation journey. Meanwhile, the daily active users and usage duration of various short-video apps have been steadily increasing, capturing a significant portion of users’ leisure time. Consequently, companies are shifting their online promotion efforts increasingly toward short-video platforms!
Amidst the passionate and inspiring speech, a few delightful surprises were sprinkled in. Led by Tang Hui from the Administration Department and Yin Si from the Information Department, the participants took a joint tour of the Xilai Gao Agricultural and Pastoral Technology Industrial Base’s laboratory and production workshop. Clean, bright, tidy, and cutting-edge—these adjectives kept flashing through everyone’s minds, prompting frequent glances and lingering looks. The engaging and humorous explanations also gave everyone an inside look at how a qualified product makes its way to the market—from production and packaging all the way through inspection and logistics!
Through communication with outstanding distributors and customers, we’ve gained insight into some of the current pain points and challenges facing the livestock industry. In response to these issues, Xilai Gao has launched a series of relevant products and plans. Hu Chuncan, Deputy General Manager of Xilai Gao, will share with us the topic “Striding Forward: A Rebirth and Distant Voyage,” in which he’ll discuss Xilai Gao’s overall product strategy for the future and the introduction of new high-tech products.
General Hu discussed the company’s products, starting from its seven production lines and nine dosage forms, and moving on to the specific products being manufactured as well as their planning and progress. Through this detailed explanation, participants gained a deeper understanding and greater confidence in Xilai Gao’s products, sparking keen curiosity about Xilai Gao’s new products—Nuweilai and Suan Dafu.

Acid Doctor is our flagship new product launched this quarter. It’s primarily composed of acetyloxyiminoacetic acid, xylanase, Bacillus subtilis, and other ingredients. Its main functions include preventing acidosis and ammonia toxicity, promoting gastrointestinal motility, enhancing gastrointestinal absorption, and stimulating growth—making it an excellent “partner” for ruminants.
The afternoon meeting kicked off amid enthusiastic applause. Mr. Huang Guogang, General Manager of Xilai Gao, has led the company over the past six months to navigate through an extremely challenging international environment, braving storms and waves, gaining a deep understanding of industry conditions, staying closely attuned to current trends, exploring new directions, and building innovative business models. From these efforts, he has distilled valuable insights on how livestock farmers can create incremental growth in today’s sluggish, saturated livestock market. Thus, the meeting brought us the theme “Xilai Gao Mid-Year Summary Meeting—Empowering,” which sets forth key issues for our future strategic direction.
In this sharing session, General Manager Huang analyzed the current industry situation as well as the operational status and strategies of enterprises from various perspectives—including veterinary drugs, market trends, market conditions, corporate performance, and marketing. He clearly and concisely explained how a company can achieve growth in a market characterized by existing stock levels, and also provided insights into the preparation, key points, and effective methods for conducting a successful marketing conference.
Thanks to General Huang’s explanation, we’ve been able to summarize the past six months and feel confident about the future. Of course, throughout the past six months, we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s dedication.
