The Xilai Gao 2022 Mid-Year Summary Meeting concluded successfully!
Release time: 2022-07-12
As time flows and the years keep marching on, this past half-year has been marked by numerous major events and a world in turmoil. Five major crises—war, pandemic, food security, energy, and the economy—have emerged simultaneously. Under these challenging circumstances, the agricultural and livestock industry has become even more difficult than ever before. In the hog farming sector, the vast majority of leading companies continue to suffer losses, while many small and medium-sized enterprises are struggling to stay afloat.
2022 The year is already halfway through. Right now, it’s the scorching month of July—the first month of the second half of the year. To better adapt to changes in the broader environment, to rise to challenges in adversity, and to seize opportunities amid difficulties, Xilai Gao’s elite team has gathered in Zhuzhou to review the first-half-year’s work, finalize plans for the second half, and rally all employees to boost their spirits, stay focused on the year’s goals and targets, and strive with dedication and professionalism to deliver high-quality results and meet the year’s performance objectives.

On the first day, during the very first session, Hu Chuncan, Deputy General Manager of Xilai Gao, shared “Xilai Gao’s 2023 New Product Planning.” Products are the cornerstone of our market presence. Only by continuously updating and iterating, constantly improving product quality, and deepening brand awareness can we establish a solid foothold in the fiercely competitive agricultural and animal husbandry industry.
From General Hu’s sharing, we learned that the company is about to complete and accept the Xilai Gao Agricultural and Pastoral Industrial Park. The first phase will launch nine dosage-form production lines, with a single-shift output reaching 6,600 tons per year. This marks a new beginning for Xilai Gao, and each of the company’s advancements will bring forth fresh hope.

On the product side, the company’s R&D department consistently focuses on the market, strives to meet user needs, and actively deploys efforts around the core principle of addressing user pain points and creating value. By zeroing in on niche segments, the department continuously invests human and material resources to develop agricultural and pastoral products that are more closely aligned with real-world needs. With their proactive and positive approach, Xilai Gao has crafted products that embody dedication to both the market and its customers—a testament to true craftsmanship.
On the operational front, we keep a close eye on emerging trends. The structure of agricultural and pastoral breeding, consumption scenarios, and consumer habits have all undergone fundamental changes. Meanwhile, the company’s newly established Information Department continues to grow stronger. We’ve developed and launched the Xilai Gao monetization mega-system. Precisely to adapt to this new situation and help the vast number of agricultural and pastoral distributors address operational pain points such as severe loss of existing customers, difficulty in acquiring new customers, and low efficiency in inventory turnover, Zhou Le, Manager of the Information Department, shared a topic—titled “Winning at the Turning Points of Our Time”—at this meeting. In his presentation, he outlined the key empowerment strategies of the company’s Information Department and the operational approach behind the Xilai Gao monetization system.

What major events happened in the first half of the year? Does everyone still remember them? Oil prices surged, epidemic prevention and control measures were implemented, industries across the board underwent mergers and restructuring, businesses closed down, unemployment rose, and countless small and medium-sized enterprises found themselves struggling to survive—agricultural and pastoral brick-and-mortar stores even had to shut their doors! Lay-flat, involution, traffic, model, monetization Words and phrases like these keep popping up on self-media platforms: Li Jiaqi has stepped away from major livestreaming platforms, Liu Genghong has suddenly become a viral sensation, Dong Yuhui is redefining the shopping experience, and New Oriental Selection has taken the internet by storm—all of which continually challenge our existing perceptions and compel us to examine and reflect on the current state and future prospects of our agricultural and animal husbandry industry from multiple angles.
We’ve now reached the most important part of today’s meeting—the presentation titled “2022 Half-Year Summary and Review,” delivered by Huang Guogang, General Manager of Xilai Gao, as well as his “Strategies for the Next 2-3 Years” aimed at addressing the complex current situation in the agricultural and animal husbandry industry.
During this sharing session, General Manager Huang analyzed the current market situation in the agriculture and animal husbandry industry from three perspectives—macro, meso, and micro. He also outlined Xilai Gao’s future strategy: We will remain firmly focused on niche areas within the agriculture and animal husbandry sector, such as animal micronutrition and parasitology, continuously strengthening our internal capabilities and scaling up our business. He encouraged everyone that, in today’s rapidly evolving industry, only by embracing trends, proactively facing challenges, enhancing our learning and building up our own expertise, and constantly adapting to new market changes can we find a clear direction in this era of constant transformation. Throughout the sharing session, there were many insightful moments and valuable takeaways—offering not only practical solutions and strategies but also addressing participants’ questions and clarifying doubts. With An important inspiration has arrived.

The highlight has arrived: In any enterprise or team, outstanding individuals are bound to emerge. Whether it’s an unprecedented market downturn or the recurring impact of frequent epidemics, there still exists a group of Xilai Gao heroes—people who unite as one, bravely strive forward, and achieve remarkable results that brilliantly contribute to the company’s first-half goals. They are truly exceptional Xilai Gao heroes. During this meeting, the company fully recognized their hard work and dedication, and held a grand award ceremony right here at the venue.

Hengshan
Mount Heng, also known as South Yue, Shou Yue, and South Mountain, is one of China’s “Five Great Mountains.” It derives its name from the fact that it is located near the Zhen star—the wing of the Twenty-Eight Mansions—and thus “responds to the balance of the celestial sphere,” “balances virtue and harmonizes all things,” much like a scale that can weigh both heaven and earth. Mount Heng is a renowned sacred site for both Taoism and Buddhism in China. Around the mountain, there are over 200 temples, monasteries, hermitages, and Taoist abbeys. The main peaks include Huizhan Peak, Zhurong Peak, Zigai Peak, and Yuelu Mountain. The highest peak, Zhurong Peak, stands at an elevation of 1,300.2 meters.
