As we bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one, the 2018 annual corporate conference of Hunan Xilai Gao Animal Health Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xilai Gao Animal Health”) was solemnly held in Changsha on January 12.

Looking back at 2018, the livestock industry was severely hit by a host of challenges—including African swine fever, the U.S.-China trade war, rising raw material costs, environmental protection reforms, and antibiotic-free farming. Despite these daunting obstacles, Xilai Gao employees remained undaunted, rose to the occasion, and achieved one impressive milestone after another.

At this year’s annual meeting, members of the Xilai Gao leadership team—including Chairman and General Manager Huang Guogang, Deputy General Manager Hu Chunchan, Board Director and People’s Congress representative Mr. Peng Fengqin, regional managers, and technical service managers—as well as specially invited guests such as Huang Yong, Secretary-General of the Hunan Province Feed Association, Xie Peng, representative of Hungary’s Bada Company, Carlos from Spain’s Cubus Company, Zhang Zhenhui, Cai Xiuping, and more than fifty other participants from among the company’s marketing elites and staff from various functional departments, all attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, this conference also featured a series of marketing training sessions and technical exchange meetings, including training on swine and poultry products, training on cattle and sheep products, and a special seminar on biosecurity. Finally, the highlight of the annual meeting—the year-end awards ceremony—was upon us. As the saying goes, “You reap what you sow”; the harder you work, the greater your rewards will be. Our outstanding Xilai Gao marketing partners reaped the honors they deserved, bringing this conference to a thrilling climax.

Following the conclusion of the award ceremony, Chairman and General Manager Huang Guogang delivered a New Year’s address, reviewing Xilai Gao’s achievements over the past year, looking forward to a bright future, and extending heartfelt wishes to all Xilai Gao employees. He proposed the guiding principles: “Focus on nutrition, enhance value, emphasize solutions, launch single products, and create blockbuster items.” He noted that in the days ahead, opportunities and challenges will coexist, and enterprises must undergo a groundbreaking transformation—“Be down-to-earth and ensure solid implementation; go all out to serve our customers well; let’s roll up our sleeves and work hard together!” Huang Guogang’s speech was inspiring, leaving the employees energized, passionate, and brimming with hope for the future.

The annual meeting will now come to an end. The current phase has come to an end, but Xilai Gao’s pursuit of dreams will never cease.
